The size of the space shuttles are hard to describe, except that they're HUGE! Especially the Saturn V rocket. It's about the height of two Statue's of Liberty on end. I didn't realize this but since the early '70s, when the apollo program ended, we have yet to put another man on the moon. I wish I could have photographed part of the IMAX 3D movie about the international space station, it was fantastic. That was the first time I'd ever seen a movie that was filmed completely in 3d, talk about depth-of-field.
