Anyway, this image is taken from the steps of the Grande Arche de la Défense. This is in the financial district where all of the modern corporate buildings are located. It's actually a cool place to just meet friends and hang out, though. There was even a huge tv screen in the middle of the courtyard that was showing a Euro Cup game and a big crowd of people were sitting on the ground watching it.
