open road sunset

PhotoFriday submission. This was taken on my cross country trip, somewhere between South Dakota and Wyoming ... that really narrows it down. It was such a strange experience being in a wide open area with absolutely no one around. What does one do when they find themselves in that situation? Take pictures in the middle of the road, of course.
