PhotoFriday submission. I was thinking of posting a nature scene that was very tranquil, but I thought that would be too obvious. Vanilla candles, on the other hand, are one of the things that I find calming. I specifically did not light the candles becuase I thought the glossy melted wax would mess up the subdued feel of this image. Besides, the contrast of the black wicks are what I find most attractive.

UPDATE: I've decided that the full frame sloppy border makes this image feel decidedly UN-tranquil. Funny how perspectives change. Oh well. Maybe some of you agree.
