I also like the way the tiles are outlined more definitely with the shadows over them. Did you use an filter on this photo? The gentleman's face to the right looks an odd shade. Very cool photo!

Terri - the odd shades come from equalizing the exposure levels in post before converting to b&w and toning the image.
