Over the weekend I tried to work on my people skills ... as in taking pictures of them. I thought it would be tough to get close to anyone with a camera. Partly because people don't usually like being photographed, and partly because I don't usually like photographing them. But it wasn't that hard. In fact, I enjoyed it. It also helps to have a quiet camera.

I took this with my 50mm f1.4 lens attached to a 2x telextender. On a 10D that's 160mm at f1.4 ... sweeeet ... which is why everything goes soft so quickly.
