        <![CDATA[<p>My abscense has been too long. Sorry about that. I'm just glad I've finally gotten a chance to take a few pictures. I haven't posted anything in 6 months becauase I haven't taken any pictures in 12. I just visited Charleston, SC and managed to capture a few images I liked. I'll be posting them over the next few weeks. Thank you all 3 people who still check here for new pictures. You've been very patient (except for a vocal minority... I'm looking at you Jusin and Briana).</p>

<p>I've been considering offering prints here, too. We'll see. All I know is that if it takes me 6 months to post a picture, how long will it take for me to add a print ordering service to this site? I think I can answer that... forever, give or take.</p>]]>

The girls are learning about their surroundings (namely, the Jamestown settlement) by looking around and observing things. The boys are learning, too, but by reading every bit of information in the handout they got at the visitor's center. And then there's me ... oblivious to my surroundings. We're still not sure where I'm from.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>I haven't taken any pictures in NYC in <a href="http://www.teofilstudios.com/archives/2004/09/when_all_else_f.html">quite a while</a>. I wish I had a few days to just wander around and photograph there. Even just a late afternoon or two. The deeper sky and long shadows make any city block more interesting. This image is from somewhere around Ground Zero, but I can't be sure where exactly.</p>

<p>I'm currently in Virginia, checking out the Jamestown settlement and Colonial Williamsburg. I should have some images up soon.</p>]]>
